Meet Prima Italy Founder
Gina Di Prima
With a last name like “DiPrima,” I was probably destined to work in Italian tourism. My first-generation family insisted I learn the Italian language at a young age. This affinity deepened while studying language and art history abroad in Siena, a stint teaching English in Rome, which evolved into a decades long career in the luxury travel sector, where I designed immersive tours focused almost exclusively on Italy.
I founded Prima Italy in 2010 to offer hyper-personalized journeys to Italy—and share my unique take on what makes this country so special.
Through my personal exploration and collaboration with outstanding local partners in Italy, I've cultivated a network of remarkable guides, hoteliers, and charming individuals who share their culture, traditions and more with Prima Italy’s clients.
